Having the Mighty Booths option at my wedding reception took the night to a whole other level… I opted for the green screen photo booth which included instant prints with the SMS option; and I selected 10 virtual backgrounds. The Disney castle background was the favourite I think. The lovely ladies that manned the very busy photo booth, Amy & Michelle, did an amazing job… I cannot recommend Mighty Booths enough.

What is a Background Replacement Photo Booth?

Green Screen Photo Booth

Guests take photos in front of a physical green screen backdrop which our software will replace with the their selected background image.

This photo booth uses a technique called “chroma keying”, more popularly known as “green screening”, which takes a range of colours – usually specific shades of green or blue – and makes them transparent. The transparent area is then replaced with the desired image, eliminating the need to manually select the guests in every photo.

Because of it’s reliability and consistently strong results, chroma keying has been a staple in film production for decades and is the backbone of many Hollywood blockbusters and CGI companies.

AI Background Removal

Photo Booth

Guests take photos with or without a backdrop and our software’s advanced AI will determine which parts of the photo will be replaced with the guests’ selected background image.

This photo booth uses Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies to understand where the subject begins and ends, essentially tracing the edges of the guests, before replacing everything else with the chosen background.

Though a relatively new technology, AI and machine learning are constantly improving and pushing the boundaries of what can be possible.
